How much trouble are fixed link ends vs. flexible ones? Would you buy a tractor that didn't have flexible end links? What are the pro's and con's of each regarding tractor implement use?

Are you talking about the lower 3ph arms that can extend vs. the type that don't extend? I'm not sure I understand.

I am talking about the telescopic lower link ends. Some are fixed and others are not. For instance on the Kubota M4900 the standard link ends are fixed, but can also be ordered with telescopic ones, too. ....

The little knowlege I have of atatching impliments to my tc40/w telescopic ends is priceless. I have a back that comes and goes and after using the new tractor with the tele ends I love it. Hookng up to my old 8n was a pain unless I was in perfect position (or condition) LOL. ....

After having telescopic lower link arms on my DK 35 and seeing the huge differance they make in hooking up implements I would never go back to fixed links again ! ....

I have the extendable ones on my TC29, and they are great. I've been using my new/old Super C Farmall lately, which of course doesn't have them, and it makes me appreciate them all the more. Right now I can still jerk and lift the implements into place to hook them up, but in a few more years.....?
That is one option that I recommend to friends that are looking at tractors.
Good luck,
Bill ....
